FIELDS

FIELDS is a surreal 3D voyage that seeks to discover the hidden poetry in our everyday environment. Alexis Nemtchenko (Merovee) and Antoine Vanel (Blindsp0t) perform in 360° the field data they’ve collected. Using real-time, site specific data to create new immersive soundscapes, they manipulate, distort, and superimpose mixes and sound recordings in Ambisonics with big data extracted from Google Maps. FIELDS offers a blurring of representations and new perspectives on spaces that exist between nature and urbanism.
