Having developed an interest in computer programming in his youth, Alex Barrette developed skills in science, software languages and information technology. From 2005 to 2008, he devised the networking designs for Lan ETS, one of North America's largest bring your own computer LAN Parties. Later recruited by the VYV Corporation, a Montréal-based media server company, he discovered a new passion: digital arts. During his stint as a technical lead with VYV, Alex contributed to the development of a number of projects including: Alicia Keys' As I Am tour, Britney Spears' Circus, Franco Dragone's House of Dancing Water and Cirque du Soleil's Totem, Iris, Zarkana and Michael Jackson One. As a freelance video technical designer, director and integrator he worked on shows for: Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion, and Prince. Joining 4U2C he helped craft the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Beyonce's Grammy performance and the Avenged Sevenfold 2017 tour. Early in 2019, he founded DrB Lab, a technology consulting firm that was instrumental in the making of Lune Rouge Entertainment's PY1 Pyramid.
